London 2012 "Two Years To Go" event with Panasonic

With precisely two years to go until the London 2012 Olympic Games, globalhire.com are proud to have helped worldwide Olympic sponsors Panasonic start the official countdown in style.

Occupying the whole of London’s Trafalgar Square for a day, globalhire.com provided various equipment and personnel for this high profile event which saw Panasonics cutting edge 3D technology come together with stars from the worlds of music and sport.

X Factor Live – LG VIP Party

Held at the newly opened LG Arena in Birmingham, globalhire.com are immensely proud to have supplied full production for the backstage party. 
Including all sound, lighting, video, DJ’s and even decor for this prestigious ‘backstage VIP party’.
Hosted by sponsors LG the event gave a select group of lucky prize winners the chance to party with the stars of X Factor Live 2010.

Best Western choose globalhire.com

We are pleased to announce a new agreement with the Best Western Buckingham Hotel to supply sound, lighting and DJ personnel. 
Part of "The worlds largest hotel chain" they join our growing list of international brands such as Mercure and Crowne Plaza who use globalhire.com on a regular basis for their events.

For example, this New Years Eve alone we supplied almost a dozen hotel locations with all their end-of-decade celebrations. At Best Western, Mercure, Old English Inns, Crowne Plaza, and Chartridge hotels.
Along with over 80 Christmas themed events in December our hotel customers all rely on globalhire.com to deliver over their busiest season.

globalhire at the Gherkin

Erecting a sound and lighting system on the 40th floor, right at the very top of London’s iconic Gherkin building, (or 30 St Mary Axe to use it's proper title) recently gave our team some interesting challenges, along with some great views over the entire City.
At 591ft up, the private bar & restaurant space operated by Searcys provides the highest dining experience in the UK.  globalhire.com are proud to have supplied equipment for such a special space.
Winner of the 2008 coolest venue award, and we can see why.

Terra Plana Store Launch

globalhire.com supplied all sound equipment for the exciting launch of the unique Terra Plana / Vivo Barefoot ethical shoes store in London’s Spitalfields.  These two innovative brands are proudly added to our growing who's who of fashion retailers using globalhire’s sound and lighting equipment to promote store launches and events.

From high street names like Oasis and Next, to global clothing brands such Etnies, DC Shoes, Puma, Boxfresh, Feit Footware, Pepe Jeans, Myla, Umbro, Spiewak, Mooks, Vagabond – all of whom have used globalhire.com sound and lighting for store launches, fashion shows and other successful events.

ITV plc

globalhire.com recently supplied ITV with various effects lighting, along with sound and DJ equipment for a high profile celebrity filled event being held at the London Studio’s on the Southbank. ITV plc join Five, Rapture, MTV and Nickelodeon on the list of TV companies who now use globalhire.com equipment rental.

PC Retail Awards 2009, 2010

Again taking place at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, the PC Retail Awards celebrates all those who work in the computing and IT retail sector. 

Becoming a regular venue for our team, who work on site at the Royal Garden Hotel several times per year, globalhire.com supplied all sound & lighting equipment for the after show entertainment.

Deep Purple:  An Audience with Steve Morse

Legendary lead guitar player with rock royalty Deep Purple,
Steve Morse has been voted the worlds best best guitar player 
five years in a row.

Working alongside sponsors ENGL Amps, and Music Man Guitars, globalhire.com are proud to have supplied a complete event equipment package which included the stage, multichannel mixing, microphones and Mackie PA system for this intimate performance.

Beachdown Festival Launch

Four days of laid back music and entertainment at the UK’s newest festival, on the South Downs outside Brighton. 
globalhire.com supplied all PA & DJ equipment for the official launch party.  Held at the Vinyl Factory in London the event gave a taste of what to expect at the festival.

EADS Astrium Conference

Our recent investment in conference equipment, such as specific new audio systems, lecterns, staging, and display screens shows the commitment of globalhire.com to this growing area of our business.

For the second year running EADS Astrium have relied on globalhire.com to supply all audio equipment, from nine channels of UHF transmission, to secure microphones and playback systems.  The week-long conference was hailed a success with globalhire.com taking on the role of sole technical supplier throughout.

MCV Awards 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010

For the sixth year running globalhire.com again provided sound, lighting and DJ equipment for this most prestigious computer industry event.
Held at The Brewery, London, the awards are the largest event to acknowledge the innovation and creativity of the people that drive the computer and video games industry.

Nuts Magazine Photo Shoot

Under contract to Nuts Magazine content provider MIA International, at Holborn Studio's London. globalhire.com supplied a range of effects lighting, along with our 80mw 'Twin Head' green laser system and a heavy duty Jem fogger.
Filling the studio with models, a dense fog and laser beams created quite a memorable image!

Star Wars Celebration Europe

Tens of thousands of Star Wars fans from around the world mingled with hundreds of storm troopers, several Darth Vaders and many of the film’s original cast and crew at ExCeL London, as Lucasfilm’s official celebration marking 30 years of Star Wars. 
globalhire.com was on-site throughout and supplied various lighting and sound equipment systems along with DJ equipment for this huge event, the first Star Wars celebration ever to be held outside of the United States.

SE Bikes BMX Exhibition

To celebrate the 30-plus years of BMX history and the original P.K. Ripper BMX, DC Shoes and SE Racing joined forces to re-release the P.K. Ripper bike for an exclusive limited edition project named “30 Years of Radness”.  globalhire.com supplied all DJ sound equipment for this first of a kind exhibition in London which celebrates the BMX explosion in the 80’s.

Charity Of The Year 2007

We operate on a ‘chosen charity’ basis due to the amount of charity events we get asked to supply equipment for.
This year we have not one but two chosen charities! both of whom have received our services totally free of charge. 

The first is The Pasque Charity (Reg Charity 1035089) whom we helped by supplying free equipment and personnel for their fund raising day on May 27th. 

The second is Breast Cancer Care (Reg Charity 1017658) who held a "Grand Summer Party" event with live entertainment and countless other attractions on June 16th, raising over £5,000.

The FA Trophy

May 2007 saw Stevenage Borough F.C. win the Carlsberg FA Trophy in front of the largest ever crowd in the competitions history.
It was also the first cup game to be played at the brand new Wembley Stadium.
globalhire.com provided all sound & lighting equipment along with personnel for the official post-match celebrations, which saw the team party on late into the night...

Oasis Clothing

Creating quite a buzz on London's Regent Street, Christmas shoppers were treated to live DJ performances and other entertainment, all held in the flagship
store of Oasis Clothing.  This is the second year globalhire.com have provided all sound & DJ equipment for such events at branches of Oasis.  As you'll see from the list of names lower down this page, this concept is fast growing in popularity with clothing brands & stores.

DC Shoes UK Launch

Winter 2006 saw the UK launch of "Project 20|94", a tie-up between DC Shoes Inc and the worlds leading baseball cap brand New Era.  Held at The Hospital, Covent Garden.  globalhire.com supplied all sound, lighting and DJ equipment for the video presentations, logo projections and a performance by drum & bass superstar Goldie.

MTV Networks Europe

We are pleased to welcome MTV Networks Europe as a new rental customer. globalhire.com recently supplied a range of equipment for events at MTV’s studios in London.  MTV join ITV, Nickelodeon, Rapture, Channel Five and a growing number of  independent film companies who use our equipment rental on an ad-hoc basis.

Mobile Entertainment Awards 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009

Held annually at The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington as well as The Brewery Conference Centre in the City.  The ME Awards are always a huge success, attracting over 350 mobile content execs from media, technology and entertainment companies around the world.  Working with event organisers Barrington Harvey Ltd, each year globalhire.com provide all DJ, Sound & Lighting equipment for the after show entertainment.

The 30th anniversary year for The Association of Illustrators flagship event displaying the best of British contemporary illustration. 

globalhire.com provided all sound and lighting equipment for this highly regarded awards ceremony.  After show entertainment was also supplied by globalhire.com, including all DJ/playback equipment and personnel.

Brides Magazine Article

globalhire.com feature in the May/June edition of Brides Magazine.  As the article mentions, we are currently the only UK rental firm offering the "Numark iDJ", iPod DJ Mixer for hire.  What this great gadget allows is for the user to slot in (dock) two iPod's and control all their features/music from the mixer.  This lets you choose your music, mix between two iPod's, or simply leave a playlist running.  Just connect the iDJ directly to any Hi-Fi or one of our P.A systems and you're done, perfect for DIY disco entertainment! more here.

The ultimate kids party! took place recently in London's Battersea Park Arena. Featuring amazing activities and performances from the world of fashion, music and sport - all in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital's Children's Charity.

The Princes Trust Urban Music Festival

The largest urban music event ever seen in the UK, with over 60 artists and 30,000 people...

Spiewak Clothing USA / NSPCC Celebrity Event
